My Home Town of Algorfa

Algorfa in Brief - A small settlement standing a few kilometres inland away from the Costa Blanca shoreline inside the province of Alicante (Comunidad de Valencia) in south-eastern Spain, Algorfa offers a warm friendly atmosphere and it has a large expat community that pretty much travelled to this region for the sunshine and for the hassle-free way of life. Established a convenient 30 minutes driving distance from the airport at Alicante and barely farther from Murcia airport, Algorfa is extremely easy to get to and has motorway access in close proximity.

You will find several sizeable residential complexes which are part of the town which are called Lo Crispin, Montebello, Montemar and there is further development on the La Finca Golf. Surrounded by lemon and orange plantations, Algorfa boasts a population of roughly 4,000, and its bustling Wednesday fruit and vegetable market pulls in many more visitors to the town.

The close by villages and towns of Formentera del Segura, Benijofar, Jacarilla, Rojales, Benejuzar and Daya Vieja every one of them interesting and worthy of a visit.
